Get in touch with Adult Social Care
Redcar & Cleveland Adult Social Care can organise for a statutory carer's assessment to be completed with you. This is not to assess your ability to care, but an assessment of how our caring role impacts us so that appropriate support can be offered by the Local Authority.
Support may be in the form of respite or regular short breaks to prevent the caring relationship from breaking down. Unpaid carers can access services from both Local Authority and VCFSE providers (e.g. Mobilise and those mentioned above) simultaneously.
Get in touch with Adult Social Care via the information below for carers support, as well as other Adult Social Care information, advice and support.
