We work with Sunderland City Council to provide a range of free online services to support you, in addition to what is already on offer.

Local support services with Sunderland Carers Centre

Sunderland Carers Centre supports those of us living across Sunderland. The Carers Centre is a centre point for carers in the city. The support they offer to carers of all ages includes:

  • One to one support and a listening ear, in person and by telephone
  • Carers assessments - find out more here

  • Training, workshops and wellbeing courses
  • Local carer peer support groups and social activities
  • A carers emergency plan
  • Tailored support for young and young adult carers aged 5-25
